LATEST NEWS ON EBOOKAD
TO ALL READERS, AUTHORS, AND PUBLISHERS:

UNFORTUNATELY EBOOKAD HAS DECIDED TO ENGAGE IN CENSORSHIP ON THEIR SITE. IF YOU WANT TO POST AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON THEIR PAGE, FORGET IT. FOR SOME ODD REASON THEY HAVE REMOVED THE RIGHT TO DO THAT. APPARENTLY EBOOKAD ARE AFRAID OF SOMETHING, MAYBE THEY JUST DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW THE FACTS. HERE THEY ARE!

THIS IS COMPLETELY WITHOUT PREJUDICE:

MY PUBLISHER, WHICH IS AN UPRIGHT HONABLE ENTREPRISE HAS HAD SOME PROBLEMS GETTING PAID BY EBOOKAD RECENTLY. THAT TRANSLATES INTO THE FACT THAT US HARD WORKING AND USUALLY POOR AUTHORS HAVE TO WAIT TO GET PAID AS WELL. THAT’S NOT FAIR, IS IT?

EBOOKAD APPARENTLY DOESN’T CARE TO RESPOND TO MY PUBLISHERS ENQUIRIES ABOUT THE MONEY THAT IS OWED THEM. UNABLE TO NO LONGER PUT BOOKS ON A SITE WHERE NO PAYMENT IS FORTHCOMING, AND NOT HEARING ANYTHING FROM EBOOKAD AS TO WHY PAYMENT WAS NOT FORTHCOMING, MY PUBLISHER HAS TERMINATED THEIR AGREEMENT WITH EBOOKAD. NOW, EVERYTHING IS GONE. EBOOKAD HAS DISREGARDED THIER AGREEMENT WITH MY PUBLISHER AND WIPED OUT THE SITE, SHOPPING CART AND SO FORTH. THAT MEANS A LOSS OF REVENUE FOR MY PUBLISHER AND FOR THE AUTHORS. THAT’S NOT FAIR.

IF YOU AGREE THAT THAT’S NOT FAIR, AND YOU ARE A READER OF MY BOOKS, OR ANY OF THE BOOKS AT EXTASY, THEN COMPLAIN, AND COMPLAIN LOUD. IF YOU ARE A PUBLISHER OR AN AUTHOR, THEN COMPLAIN LOUD TOO. ASK EBOOKAD WHY THEY DON’T RESPOND TO PEOPLE THEY OWE MONEY TO, OR BOOKS TO, AND ASK THEM WHY THEY HAVE DISCONTINUED THEIR ANNOUNCEMENT SITE. I BELIEVE THEY DIDN’T LIKE WHAT WAS WRITTEN THERE!

EXTASYBOOKS WILL NO LONGER DEAL WITH EBOOKAD. IN TWO WEEKS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE BOOKS FROM THIS GREAT, HONEST AND UPFRONT PUBLISHER WHO WILL ALWAYS TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND PAY THIER DUES. EBOOKAD MIGHT TAKE A LESSON FROM THAT. THEY HAVE LOST ONE OF THEIR MOST LUCRATIVE CLIENTS.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COPY AND PASTE THIS AND POST IT ANYWHERE YOU CHOOSE, THE MORE PLACES, THE BETTER. THANK YOU EVERYONE.

I just filed a complaint with the Canadian BBB. Please do the same if you have been scammed by this jerk. Just google Canadian BBB. If you don’t he will continue to run this pyramid scheme. And the worst part is that he has a lot of your personal information! along with intellectual property and is probably reselling it to other sites – those scam ebook sites you see so much of.

I ordered a book on July 6, 2005 and it was charged to my credit card on July 6, 2005. I have not received the book as of July 18, 2005. I called the number listed on my credit card, which was PayPal and was given a number for EBook. I called that number twice and finally left a message. I have yet to hear back from them. I will never buy from EBook again and I will tell anyone who asks about them that they are no good.
