Illustrated Sony primer for newbies—plus more FBReader basics

How good is the Sony Reader in the sun? Does it work with Mac? Can you use it to download the BBC and the New York Times via RSS?

Old-timers may know the answers right off the bat—but not e-book newbies, necessarily.

So you may want to point them to The Sony Reader: An Illustrated Primer, over at Mssv. This well-illustrated mini primer should be handy for shoppers and new owners alike.

Meanwhile the Every Flavor Beans blog has posted a nice little FBReader tour for novices, with some nice screen shots.
