New iPhone e-reader: ruBooks

By David Rothman

image ruBooks, for iPhones and iTouches, improves on Books.app. It’s now available in a pre-released version and includes such features as:

–A “PDF, XLS and DOC viewer based on Safari engine.”

–”FB2 support, including support to zip-archived files.”

–”Auto-scroll with adjustable scrolling speed.”

–Language localization—for English, Russian and draft German, Chinese and Japanese.

–”Page scrolling with volume control buttons.”

–Justified alignment and other small but very handy enhancements.
