Feedbooks working on e-book device: E Ink and six-inch screen

By David Rothman

image Our friends at Feedbooks, a source of beautiful public domain titles in ePub, Mobipocket and PDF, are working on their on e-book reader device. Check out a French-language video, the related text from the Billaut blog and a Google translation.

The word from Feedbooks’ Hadrien Gardeur, a TeleBlog regular and fellow ePub booster, is that the device will be linux-powered and have a six-inch E Ink screen. It will be "released this fall through a large retailer in France, and later this year in specialized retailers and online," according to Hadrien. "Software will be in English/French."

Best of luck, Hadrien! Eager for more details when you can provide them.
