Why do you like the books you do? I loved Old Man&#039;s War because it was like Vonnegut&#039;s works--funny, moving and insightful. For latecomers, the premise is that instead of dying, old people can get new bodies and fight the bad guys in outer space. Far better than the shuffleboard circuit. Unlike many SF novels, this one makes me care for the characters.
