I hope they're going to do some serious updating of it, and release a firmware upgrade for those of us who bought the original and have been waiting for Amazon to get a clue about how to help users manage the books they put on the device. Yeah, all these “pro” journalists sitting in newsrooms that have been neutron bombed by job cuts are really going to get down and dirty, jeopardize their paycheck, and upset the guys in Ad Sales.

Yet they disdain all the people online who *will* speak up because it’s The Right Thing To Do.

All those newsrooms *deserve* to empty out. It hasn’t been murder. It’s been smug slow-motion suicide.
