‘100 classic books collection’ for Nintendo DS: Dickens, Austen, Stevenson among authors

By David Rothman

A collection of 100 classics for the Nintendo DS will be available from HarperCollins UK, with a price tag of 19.99 GBP. Excerpt from Nintendo site:

image The 100 Classic Book Collection allows you to search for books in a number of different ways, such as subject matter and length, meaning you can find a suitable story in seconds. As well as the novels, you can access book introductions and find out more on the authors themselves – there are also additional books that you can download via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection!

Now, if only Nintendo can arrange for ePub books to be conveniently readable—either directly or through conversion if need be. Meanwhile keep in mind that you can convert free classics from sources such as Project Gutenberg, even if the formatting won’t be as fancy.
