But Carnoy's mistaken when he says Lulu.com 'only' offers 6x9 inch paperback editions; in fact lulu offers about a dozen different sizes, including one - 8x5.5 - that is fairly close to Carnoy's ideal of 8x5.25. This one goof renders the rest of his advice and details suspect. His other goof (that I know of) lies in thinking that his only option to put out a Kindle-edition was to pay hundreds of dollars to BookSurge. Couldn't he have simply offered it himself?
