Reed Exhibitions cancels BookExpo Canada

Publishers Weekly is reporting that Reed has cancelled the upcoming BookExpo Canada. I have seen numerous reports over the last month of large publishers withdrawing from the exhibition. Reed has also cancelled plans for a smaller consumer-oriented show in Toronto. The Expo was supposed to run from June 19 to June 22, and it’s website is still live as of 4:30pm when I made this post.
