I know Amazon is higher profile, but who could honestly expect TTS to replace a human audio recording. People who like audio books, shop for audio books. They are not going to get the ebook and have it mechanically read to them. Sometimes I hit the TTS button by mistake on the MS reader, and my husband and I laugh our heads off. We call it "as read by Stephen Hawking." Who could stand to listen to it for more than half a page?
