It's no wonder their child has "discovered" books, now that they have an online source for them. Still, Amazon isn't the only source of e-books... and I fear that propagating that notion will only serve to slow the progress of e-books overall. The parents would have been better off getting their child a Sony reader, which accepts more standard formats.
