Check out this site www.bookase.com, A price comparison search engine for books and textbooks. It searches for the lowest prices among the major online stores worldwide and also offers discount coupons. You can also choose among various shipping options to calculate the lowest price

Of course textbook sales are up. The prices of textbooks are outrageous! I have to search online to buy my textbooks so I can avoid the astronomical prices at college bookstores. The best site I've found is http://www.bigwords.com. It's easy to search and they compare the textbook prices from hundreds of reliable sites. I would never go back to shopping at college bookstores for my textbooks.

This is a great link, thanks! Looking back over the table of ebook sales going back to 2002, I see that the category sold more in every year than in the previous one, but that the percentage gains dropped. This isn't surprising, since in 2002 only some 7,000 books sold, which is so small a number, it was pretty easy to jump to 2003's 19,000, or + 170% ... after that as the numbers swelled, big percentage jumps are harder to sustain...they went down to +53%, then +44%, +24%, +23%...

until...

2008 saw a jump of + 68%.

Got to be the Kindle, wouldn't you think?
