Yes, I'm horrified to hear this Wolverine masterpiece has found its way into grubby undeserving hands. Obligatory tsk tsk, string them up, &etc.

But it raises an interesting possibility. So few good movies are made because Hollywood is now a factory for assembling vastly expensive banal product. We've known this for a long time, and there has been naught to do about it.

Until now. If roaring fanboydom keeps proving to be one step faster, ultimately the majors will be more cautious investing their gobs of money in these costly franchise turds.

I see a nice Aesopian outcome borne on wings of bandwidth. Go, roaring fanboys. Go!

It's not all of them being sued you should worry about. It's a few chosen as examples. Very few people may win the lottery, but someone does. Very few people get struck by lightning, but someone does. A movie that is as likely to be awful as this one is not worth that kind of risk.

We'll see come release time. If the Wolverine movie is really such a setback, they deserved the leak, the Box Office revenue hits and the sheer embarrassment of this whole affair.

Obama's handing out iPods? Haha, I like. It would seem that he's on the side of the average user - who doesn't want to pay through the nose for licenses to music they already paid for in the first place..
