Alan,

Thanks for the great comment and for the 5-star review! Amazon takes a week or more to put up the description on the Kindle page. I'll see what I can do about making the description on both longer.

This is a very enjoyable read, not something that I can typically say about technical ebooks.

However, there is no product description on the Amazon Kindle page. There is a very short description on the paperback page. Almost the entirity of the book's web page would be suitable for a product description.

It was discussed in detail here (only 3 pages of talk):

http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20480

yet no one was able to actually create a Kindle version from what I gather. I tried but it is beyond my computer ability.

Alex,

That sounds like a great idea to me. Any suggestions on a public domain dictionary that would work well for that purpose?

Joshua, I am definitely a fan of your Kindle customer friendly approach. For instance many people, often don't give you enough credit for your advising clients on a responsible price for their content. But here is my question, I and some others have called for foreign language support on the Kindle. So far Harrap's was the only dictionary that I have seen. Would you consider working on some foreign language dictionary support? I mean a dictionary that could sub for the new oxford default if a person chooses to, with full look up functionality.

I bought the DRM-free Kindle edition of Joshua's book this afternoon at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0024FAPF4/?tag=ebest and I am pleased to provide an early report that he has done an elegant and thorough job. I am hoping to review it here soon and (more briefly) in my Kindle Nation newsletter Monday.
