Murdoch's fangs are in the neck of letters the world over, so it was only a matter of time before he tasted e-ink.

Totally agree, Pond. There's room for all kinds of approaches. Let's just hope the company can keep prices down.

Can't wait for Mary Lou's netbooks and readers. I encourage you to email me or post here if you run across fresh news in that regard. It's a WONDERFUL time to be an e-booker, and life will only get better despite hassles such as DRM and eBabel.

Thanks,
David

While Plastic Logic would be nice, its emphasis on 'enterprise users' indicates to me it is going to be really, really expensive.

So leave us not forget Pixel Qi and its XO-derived screens. Mary Lou is promising actual devices with the screens -- netbooks as well as ebook readers -- coming by the end of the year or so.
