		<description>The AT article suggests fairly thorough research into everything... EXCEPT the e-book reader field.  Suggesting that more readers will likely mean more DRM and local-locked devices is unrealistic and unsupported by the facts at hand.  It is more likely that other reader producers, in competing with giants like Amazon and Sony, would make their devices more consumer-friendly with lower prices, no DRM and more open and varied online access systems (a simple swappable chip would allow a device to be switched from CDMA to GSM as the owner wished, just as they do with unencumbered phones, solving that problem neatly).

AT must be expecting all the experienced e-book makers to simply go away, to be replaced by devices made by the likes of Dell, Toshiba and Microsoft...</description>
