I liked the FF plugin, but having to enable javascript to make it work is a pain. I tried the bookmarklet, but NoScript prevents it from working, despite having "forbid bookmarklets" unchecked. For bookmarklet, you have to click to get the cleaned page. For add-on, TidyRead works in a smart mode, when it is confident that a page is an article, it will open.
