My favorite full-screen e-reading view
I’m not sure if the Sony e-reader app, in the eBook Libary, can replicate this view in ePub.
But oh how nice it looks with The Gate House, a book in Sony’s proprietary BBeB format. The reader needs to treat ePub the same if it doesn’t already.
Notice the efficient use of the landscape-oriented screen on my desktop. Software developers should consider similar arrangements for netbooks, especially those you can’t use in a tablet mode.
For desktops, please show mercy and add scrolling via a mouse wheel, a little detail that Sony apparently forget. Click on the image for a detailed view.

Very nice! What’s the name of the software you’re using? is it possible to include a link?

It’s simply the reader that comes with the Sony eBook Library software. Good luck with it. Share with us your experiences. David

While the full view itself is nice, the text is very ugly with some nasty justification on the first page.

A narrow column, Hadrien. Ragged right would have been better. But overall, the view’s pretty nice. Thanks. David

As Hadrien notes, the justification on page 1 is just botched.
Which I’m more willing to forgive at this stage of the e-book game because it falls within a box that’s specially positioned.
What bothers me more is the excess inter-word spacing on page 2 and lack of hyphenation to bring an even “color” to the lines.
Other than that, on my laptop I, too, prefer emulating a physical book with a two-page spread.
