Center for Intellectual Property developing an on line community

By Paul Biba

Received this email from Steven Petersen of the Center for Intellectual Property:

logo_new.jpgThe Center for Intellectual Property at University of Maryland
University College is developing a community that might interest you
and TeleRead’s audience. It is for anyone who faces copyright issues –
including artists, YouTube video posters, musicians, fan fiction
writers, and academics — from content creators to content users.
Everyone is welcome.

The community will provide opportunities for its members to think about
and discuss copyright: to share resources, to ask questions and find
answers, and to address copyright-related issues and concerns.

The social network — CIP Member Community — will launch in September.
Please visit http://www.umuc.edu/cipcommunity to learn more about the
community and http://www.umuc.edu/cip for more about the CIP.
