New option: The Kindle DX

This is indeed great news. Just a few weeks ago, New Egg had the jetBook at $199 with a coupon code for $30 off. I got my jetBook during the promotion. Now New Egg now has the $169 price without the coupon code.
I wonder if the coupon code promotion was some type of test to see if they would sell more readers at the lower price. Perhaps that is why the regular price is now lower.
The jetBook is a very nice little reader for non-DRM formats. With the improved firmware that is due out soon, mobi and epub formats will display even better.
