Legal ambiguities be damned! Kindles lent out by public libraries

image Is it legal for public libraries and others to lend out Kindles containing copyrighted books? Ambiguities abound, thanks to Amazon’s not-so-helpful terms of service.

But that hasn’t stopped at least 15 libraries from offering Kindles. What’s more, at least two are offering Sony Readers. So which library will be the first go with the Kindle DX, the new large-screen Kindle? (Thanks to iReader Review.)
