You can only &lt;i&gt;see&lt;/i&gt; the first 176 apps—but any apps added to your phone beyond that magic number can still be accessed and launched through the new Spotlight search window.

Something that might be nice as both a means of extending and organizing the number of apps that can be displayed would be some kind of &quot;sub-launcher&quot;: tap on an &quot;E-books Category&quot; icon, and a new launcher opens up with just e-books (or some other app category you name).

I wonder if something like that could be hacked up by third-party coders?</description>
