Ebook news in non-US newspapers, weblogs, etc. - we’d love to have it

By Paul Biba

images.jpegFrom the Editor: Recently we published excerpts from a German newspaper, notes about Spanish and German weblogs and a Hungarian ebook site, talked about manga in France and reported on doings in Singapore, as well as regularly publishing material from the British Isles.

I would be very happy to expand the international coverage of TeleRead into foreign climes and other languages. If any of our readers come across links to interesting articles in non-English languages please let me know. I will be happy to publish my usual excerpts of the articles, but they MUST be accompanied by a short English translation, like the German article just below. Aside from published articles, any news of interest to the ebook community emanating from your country would be welcome. I am hoping to make happenings overseas more accessible to English speakers, as well as letting our overseas readers know of stuff in their own back yard.
