Broken iPhone screens now repairable at stores

By David Rothman

image The iPhone is a dandy e-reader for many—well, unless the screen breaks.

But now at least the repairs can be done on the spot at stores. Price for out-of-warranty work will be $199.

  1. I was gonna do the Apple screen swap for $200 when I broke my iPhone, but instead I decided to try http://www.ubreakifix.com who were offering the same repair for $80. I got my phone back in a few days looking new and saved a big chunk of money. I’d say it was a win-win.
