Amazon releases sheet music for the Kindle

By Paul Biba

images.jpegThe Amazon Kindle Review has a post on the new release of sheet music for the Kindle. Released by FreeHand Systems, under the Novato Music Press imprint, the selection includes over 20,000 classical, traditional and American music titles.

The Review did a test of the Kindle 2 with sheet music and has a video included on the site. They concluded that the Kindle 2 is not the best for this purpose.

The review of the kindle 2 for using sheet music would be -

B grade and usable if you have good eyesight.

Unusable otherwise. Its just not possible to flip the page (which takes .5 second or so) and also zoom the page to larger size while maintaining flow
