Has your “protective” case cracked your Kindle? I’m curious. A lawsuit has been filed.

  1. Amazon responded by dropping the repair charge and offering to buy back the cases:

  2. A nitpick, but lawsuits are normally “filed” not “fired.” Though I suppose one could argue that this particular one was metaphorically a “shot across Amazon’s bow.”

  3. LOL. Thanks, Cat. Fixed. Definitely lightning/lightningbug territory–to cite Mark Twain’s witticism on the difference between the right word and the wrong word. That’s not quite a precise comparison, but you get the idea. I encourage TeleBlog readers to report glitches—via e-mail or the comments section.

    Thanks,
    David
