Sony PRS-505 for $238 from Dell with coupon: No shipping charges
A Sony PRS-505 costs $238—and ships for free—if you use a coupon from Dell. The deal apparently lasts through October 31. The price is a far cry from $300 range that shoppers were commonly paying earlier this year.
So Sony’s clearing stock? To make way not just for the new PRS-300 and 600 but also—let’s hope—a wireless model?
I can’t wait for the news from Sony’s August 25 news conference, which TeleRead’s Paul Biba will attend. No word on what’ll be announced. But a lot of people will be disappointed if a wireless Sony Reader does not materialize by the end of the year. (PRS-505 info Via Mike Cane.)

Here’s hoping for a wireless reader (which will be
sold in Canada) & an iPhone app. Especially an
iPhone app. Will have to wait & see.

The coupon deal seems to have vanished! Is dealcatcher a place that baits and switches? Dell doesn’t have anything on its site about this.
