Free ebooks back at Amazon- John Lutz Urge to Kill

By Paul Biba

Previously we published an article from the Kindle Nation saying that Amazon seemed to have cut out free ebooks. Well, it seems that this isn’t the case. Again, from Kindle Nation:

Sometimes it’s great to be wrong!

Just hours after I posted my concern yesterday that Amazon might be backing away from free books in the Kindle Store, as if on cue, here we have a real keeper, and it’s free:

John Lutz has been a prolific favorite with thrill-seeking readers for decades, and his full-length novel Urge to Kill is now available free in the Kindle Store!

Get it while it’s hot!

I’ve just downloaded the book to my Kindle!

  1. Glad to see the follow-up Paul. Maybe Amazon is resuming again but still won’t offer public domain books to the extent that it did earlier. The Slashdot item that I mentioned earlier today certainly raises questions.

    Thanks,
    David

  2. I should also note that the new Amazon-offered title is free but not public domain. Question still exist in that area. DR
