Important news for Mac users. Previously we reported that the Kindle software will soon be released for the PC. Well, The Unofficial Apple Weblog is reporting that Amazon has said it will be available for the Mac as well. Hooray!

… so keep your computer e-book backups in a separate folder from the one the app can read, or it may sync with your account whether you want it to or not…

No hooray from me. I’m a B&N ebook customer now because I couldn’t get Kindle on my laptop. Sorry Amazon but you had two years to get this done.
