Amazon offers Kindle 2 for $159 with Audible membership
Amazon is offering a $100 discount on Audible-ready devices for members of its $14.95/month Audible audiobook club, including the Kindle 2. This would reduce the price of the Kindle 2 to $159.
While I make no bones that the Kindle 2 is not the perfect e-book reader, and Amazon is still doing some things that really annoy me, that price would make the Kindle 2 a lot more tempting if I had that much money to spare.
Of course, given that the Kindle 2 was sold out the last time I checked, it is anybody’s guess when the Kindle might actually arrive.
