E-reader battery time to get boost from PRAM memory tech?

image The battery time of some mobile phones could eventually go up by more than 20 percent thanks to the lower power requirements of PRAM (used as a substitute for flash memory).

In fact, Samsung is among the companies hoping to make smart phones with the new tech. The technology also writes and rewrites the information faster.
