The Sound of a Miracle: A Child's Triumph over Autism, by Annabel Stehli

The Sound of a Miracle by Annabel Stehli is the touching story of a mother's determination and love for her autistic daughter. She perseveres until she finds help, not the blame she has experienced with traditional mental health professionals, but a different approach pioneered by Dr. Guy Bernard. I am reminded of other stories where the parents did not give up: A Miracle to Believe In or another book, A Boy Called Hopeless.
