Biscuit Cans, Cologne Bottles, and Consumer Culture
In the audio portion of my blog, I explained how a biscuit can nearly got the better of me. I think there must be a way to make them more friendly. I suspect Edward Tenner might have a suggestion or two. I am enjoying his book, Our Own Devices (RC 58750) in which he discusses everything from sandals and their effect on our feet, eye glasses, chairs, and keyboards. Oh, and I wanted an office chair that combines the best features of the Aeron, the Load, the Persona, and the Cyborg.
I hope someone can figure out how to email smells or make them accessible. What a neat way for e-newsletters (such as the one produced by osMoz) to promote new scents with a kind of cyber-scent strip. We could have cyber aromaquariums which could saturate us with scents made to order.
