Oh, no! Robots for sex AND novel-writing?
The book Love and Sex with Robots is creating buzz. Now how about novels from robots? Might the right hardware-software combo emulate the late Jacqueline Susann? If compared to the original, could a JacquelineBot passed a customized Turing Test?
Reassuringly, both computer and lit experts are skeptical about the claims of Publishing House Astrel SPb. But you never know about the future.

In a way we already do have books by robots. They are called “video games.”
Seriously, Chris Crawford On Interactie Storytelling is one of the most interesting things I’ve read on the subject. It’s about how a computer program could be designed to tell original stories. Speculative in nature, I have no doubt that some 15 year old will discover it, read it and use it to change the world.
