Just by getting an amazon.com visa card you'll get $30 back from your first purchase of anything - be it a Kindle or a case of oatmeal.

That $30 back offer seems to be perpetually available on the amazon site so I don't see what the advantage is to the consumer by buying this from Wallet Buddy.

It seems Wallet Buddy is just trying to take advantage of naive consumers - in this offer you are not getting anything you wouldn't have gotten by dealing directly with amazon.

Why does anybody buy from affiliate sites like this rather than dealing directly with amazon????

Thanks, Hadrien. Very possibly Chase is acting as an affiliate--earning the $40 and steering people to its card. Amazon, for all we know, might even give it a higher commission. David

Well, an affiliate gets 40$ for selling a Kindle right ?
That's the reason why we can see all those rebates.
