Gmail’s autocomplete: How to zap old addresses to safeguard your privacy

By David Rothman

image This isn’t e-book-related, but I couldn’t resist sharing a tip on zapping old Gmail addresses from autocomplete. That way, you won’t accidentally send a sensitive message to a no-longer-safe destination. The changes, as far as I can determine, won’t kick in until you sign off and log on again.

Now a question for Google. Just when will you make it easier to do the zapping? Talk about privacy threats!
